History

Aloysian Publications traces its origins to a pivotal moment during the challenging times of the pandemic in January 2021, when educators and advocates for quality education in the Philippines came together with a shared vision. Founded amidst adversity, our journey commenced with a resolute commitment to empower teachers and elevate the field of education through innovative publications and advocacy initiatives.

In December 2020, Dr. Crisanto E. Avila, while pursuing his Master of Development Communication at the University of the Philippines, envisioned the necessity of a dedicated platform to foster dialogue, collaboration, and professional development among educators. Driven by this vision, Aloysian Publications was established, poised to serve as a voice for educators nationwide.

In January 2021, Aloysian Publications attained accreditation from esteemed institutions including the Department of Trade and Industry, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the National Press Club of the Philippines, and the National Library of the Philippines, solidifying its position as a reputable source of educational content.

February 2021 marked a significant milestone with the launch of our flagship publication, EDUCATORS’ LINK. Designed to provide educators with a platform to share insights, experiences, and research, the magazine swiftly gained recognition as a leading publication within the education sector, becoming a trusted resource for teachers across the country.

In July 2021, Aloysian Publications intensified its advocacy efforts, particularly focusing on promoting educational equity and inclusivity. Through strategic partnerships with educational institutions, advocacy groups, and government agencies, we endeavored to address disparities in access to quality education, earning recognition from the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) as a CPD Provider for Teachers. Additionally, our collaboration with BETMA English Vietnam expanded our reach internationally, furthering our mission on a global scale.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Aloysian Publications achieved notable milestones and received accolades for excellence in publishing, advocacy, and community engagement. The prestigious Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) acknowledged EDUCATORS’ LINK as one of the best professional magazines, reaffirming our commitment to advancing the field of education.

In 2024, recognizing the evolving needs of educators and embracing technological advancements, Aloysian Publications embarked on a digital transformation journey. Launching an online platform and partnering with the Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development facilitated wider accessibility to educational resources and publications, including those accessible through Google Scholar.

Today, Aloysian Publications stands as a beacon of excellence in the field of education, driven by a steadfast dedication to empowering educators, promoting educational equity, and fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Our recent initiatives, including the creation of a dedicated website and automation of transactions, reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation and impact in shaping the future of education in the Philippines and beyond.

Rationale

The landscape of education has undergone significant transformation over the years, necessitating educators to adapt and expand their roles within the classroom. Beyond traditional teaching methodologies, teachers have embraced a multifaceted approach, utilizing their expressive capabilities to influence both students and peers.

In response to this evolving educational paradigm, Aloysian Publications introduced the EDUCATORS’ LINK, providing a platform for teachers to contribute literary, journalistic, scientific, and research articles in a high-quality monthly magazine. This initiative not only facilitates the expression of educators’ ideas but also aids them in fulfilling the criteria outlined in DepEd Order No. 66 s. 2007, commonly known as the Revised Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of Other Teaching, Related Teaching, and other Non-Teaching Positions.

Endorsed at a national level by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and accredited by the National Library of the Philippines with ISSN: 2782-859X, the magazine’s reach extends internationally, featuring contributions from educators worldwide. Serving as a platform for discourse on pertinent educational issues, the Educators’ Link amplifies the voices of teachers on a global scale, advocating for Educational Equity.

Aloysian Publications takes immense pride in producing the premier teachers’ publication in the country, the EDUCATORS’ LINK. Since its inception in February 2021, the magazine has steadily grown in prominence, circulating throughout Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and beyond.
